*Reader Photos* Shirley Temple - 1972 Ideal
My 1972, 16 inch Ideal Shirley Temple Doll.
BEFORE
AFTER
Backdrop is Samantha's Scenes and Settings, by American Girl, retired.
The cobalt blue Shirley Temple Mug was my mothers. As a little girl, she did not like milk and the only way she would drink milk was if her mother put it in her Shirley Temple mug! Other than Shirley's picture, there are no other markings on the mug. My mother is 86 years old, so I know the mug is very old.

*Opening* Stand Up and Cheer Dress - Shirley Temple
My Shirley Temple doll needed her original polka dot dress. I found this one on eBay. Fabric is sheer white organdy with red
velvet-type flocking for the dots and rayon red ribbons.
There's a floral bouquet of faux velvet
flowers at the waist, a satiny under slip, and a two button closure on
the back. Mattel brand.

*REVIEW* 1972 Shirley Temple by IDEAL (Rescue)
Yippee!
I found this 1972 Shirley Temple doll by IDEAL TOYS!!
16" hard vinyl doll with a squishy face and rooted hair.
Her hands are so child like!
Her teeth need repainted and she needs a good cleaning.
She has real upper lashes, eyes do not close.
Luckily her hair was in bobby pins so her curls were persevered. This is all I had around to dress her in temporarily. I need to find some cute dresses and a pair of patent leather shoes.

*Reader Photos* Calling All Princesses
Calling all Princesses to the Royal room. Merida is first to arrive, she quickly goes for the chest. Merida was a rescue doll from Goodwill.
Merida and her cousin, who is from Target and share the same name. Wait Merida do not open that chest!
A closer up of the Target Merida.
Snow White is next to arrive and she brings her 7 Dwarfs. Snow White is also a rescued doll from Goodwill and the 7 dwarfs I found at Big Lots they have clips to hang on backpacks.
Sleeping Beauty wondered into the basement and was curious at what she found. She too is a rescued doll from Goodwill.
No Princess Aurora do not touch!
Two of my favorite Princess and Me 18 inch Dolls: Princess Aurora and Elsa still in their box.
The Princess from Frozen: Anna and Elsa as toddlers.
Close up, they are adorable. Toddlers and minis Anna and Elsa.
My All Time Favorite is "little Miss Princess" Shirley Temple.
The world is full of Princesses in each of us!
The backdrop and royal chair was customized by me (it came from
goodwill as a plant holder), the spindle was a flower, the little chest
was also customized by me it was from Michael's and the pot I found at a thrift
shop.
Enjoy! Diana
