First of all Samantha arrived in good condition today. She was just as described.
There was a small stain on the front and the back of her dress so I pre-treated them with stain remover and am washing her dress and tights now. Her skin was very dusty and I cleaned her up with baby wipes. Her white body wasn't as badly stained as I thought it would be. I did notice her hair, though in good condition was very dry. I will more than likely Downy Dunk her hair. But it has not been cut and the wig cap is intact.

Now for my poor little Felicity...this poor little girl's hair has been a struggle. I did a Downy Spritz but that wasn't strong enough. I ended up doing a Downy Dunk. I'll admit it made me nervous but it is done now (I let it set over night) and I am waiting for it to finish drying. I have to say it is better but not as good as I had hoped.
| BEFORE: Tried to de-tangle |
AFTER: Here it is drying. I may have to do this again in a week or so. She has very bad split ends and I'm too terrified to trim it. The damage goes up from the end to about 2" and it is one length. In order to remove the split ends I would have to trim it 2" and there's no way I'll do that!
I am hoping once it dries, I can style it into a low ponytail then spritz water on the ends and roll it in a sponge roller. After a week, take it out of the roller. Maybe this will help smooth the ends.
