ReplyDeleteNow that I look at 62, she does look like her. I really admire you picking a great role model for your daughter to follow and to even select a doll in her image is excellent. It would be great to have more AG ballet accessories for you to put on her for all the upcoming ballets. I hope to see Ms Copeland soon in the Swan Lake production either in person or on dvd.

ReplyDeleteThat is a great idea! If you are going to put clothes on the dol after she is signed, I would try to have Ms. Copeland sign her with something that won't rub off on the clothes. Madelon
ReplyDeleteThank you to everyone for all the kind and loving comments. You are each an Angel and blessing to this world. It was such a blessing to learn about and meet Misty Copeland. She has two wonderful books one of which we read last night for Children about being a Ballerina of color. Due to tight security and a large crowd they could not fit in a book signing. So no autographs. So, I will definitely have to go to Her performance and try again to get #62 autographed down the road in the near future. #62 is a beautiful doll, do add her to Your Collection soon. She looked so beautiful in 2014 Girl of the Year Isabelle's Recital Dress for the event yesterday.
