*TAMMY'S TRAVELS* Day 6 - Bastogne War Museum

Today was a travel day as Tammy went by bus north through the forested Ardennes on her way to Brussels.

She stopped at the Bastogne War Museum which pays tribute to the American soldiers who defended Belgium in WWII during the Battle of the Bulge.

Tammy's souvenir. This book tells the story of Emil, a young boy who survives the failed German offensive at Bastogne at Christmas, 1944.

  3. As someone with a great interest in history, and a deep appreciation and respect for those who serve, I find this fascinating. Thank you for sharing all these details. It's wonderful to see the seriousness of history balanced with the lightness of Tammy's sweet presence.
