*REVIEW* Felicity Holiday Dress

Blue gown on the left is Pleasant Company, 1994.  Notice the snaps instead of Velcro.  On the right is the American Girl blue gown.  It has Velcro and will snag the lace if you are not careful.

  1. Thank you for the side by side. You can really see the differences!

  2. Beautiful dolls! How old is your Elizabeth and are you thinking of buying the new Beforever one?

  3. I do not have Elizabeth, although I sure do want her! My Felicity doll is a preloved doll that I bought a year ago, along with her blue gown. She is not a PC doll. I love the striking green eyes of the PC Felicity! The PC blue gown, with snaps was bought at a thrift store. The doll on the right is Saige.

    1. Whoops. Thank you for responding to Felicity. For some reason I am calling Felicity Elizabeth. Your Felicity is such a pretty doll. I do miss this outfit in general more than the others. The Christmas dresses for each historical doll are amazing and the accessories featured on the pamphlets. Any ideas to why they changed the lace on their bodice?

    2. Amazing. I did not catch that, that was Saige. So glad to have the Pleasant Company Version of Felicity and Blue Gown.

  4. Wow--I'm so glad I got my Felicity's Christmas dress in 1996. It has the snaps--trying to get the stomachers on without catching the lace or ribbon would be awfully difficult for me! I have enough trouble trying not to snag the ribbon at the back of Samantha's cranberry Christmas dress. --Jen

  5. Thank you for your review! That made me realize that the pre-owned blue dress I bought on Ebay a couple years ago is actually the PC version! That's a big plus for me! I didn't know of the differences. Your review is wonderful!

  6. I wish more dresses were made with snaps or hooks and eyes. Madelon
