*Reader Photos* AG Fashion Show - Practice

Hope Faith is going be a VIP Model as Melody in this Outfit for Girl's inspired by Melody's Meet for the 2016 American Girl Doll Fashion Show Houston.

With our super tight schedule, this is what works best for us with Misty Copeland only 5 days after the American Girl Fashion Show.

Hope-Faith was cast as a Bitty Baby today, because of her age, size and number of competing girls. She was not too excited and really wanted to be Melody, so the VIP Package allows you to have a significant role as a Model as a bigger contributor to the financial help of this event for Charity.

Practice today was at Hits Theater, they are hosting this event for Houston for 2016. Melody's story is very important to Hope-Faith, She's struggled with learning about her history as an African-American in school last year and cried a lot. Her role as Misty Copeland in the Black History Program was very encouraging last year and now the opportunity to be on stage with Misty Copeland is beyond incredible, to see a great African American in such a positive light is so important to this little girl, who struggled to under the past.

Melody is helping her gain insight on how we meet the heart breaking challenges of racism. She knows that she wants to have lots of courage and speak up for justice for all, like Melody. Thank you for allowing me to share our Story.

  1. What a great post. Thank you for sharing. Too many children and adults struggle with the reality of racism and discrimination. It is good to understand it in elementary school so that it is taught in a controlled teachable environment rather than on the web which is not always the best source. Melody is a good starting point and her story is quite inspirational.

  6. Bless that little girl's heart...congrats to her on so many wonderful opportunities that are coming her way. It breaks my heart that any child has to learn about racism and I hope she will come through this with more strength in her charactoer and lots of pride in who she is. :)

  7. Hearing that your beautiful Hope Faith has been crying breaks my heart! So many children know the pain of discrimination, sometimes because of skin color, sometimes because of beliefs, sometimes for size, or sometimes even just because they're a good kid in a mean world.

I hope that this experience in this show will help build Hope Faith's confidence and belief in herself. And I hope she keeps meeting kind, wonderful people who see a beautiful girl with a beautiful heart, so that all involved will know friendship and warmth. Life is a chance to find beauty, to enrich each other, and to share love and joy.

    Blessings to you! :)
