*UPDATE* GOTY14 Isabelle

Yes, yes....I know....Isabelle is BACK IN MY COLLECTION!

I hadn't realized just how much I missed her, so when I was able to obtain her on DEEP DISCOUNT, I decided to bring her home (again).

I'm really not a modern doll collector because my heart lies with the historical characters, but I AM a doll lover so Izzy is back home at LADL living with her GOTY sisters Saige and Grace.

Welcome (back) home Isabelle!

  1. So cute to have them all together. If AG is discontinuing GOTY, it makes her even more special!

  3. Congratulations!!! Would LOVE to have Isabelle, but hadn't gotten into doll collecting yet when she came out, but have my DD's 3 Pleasant Company dolls from the 1980's still her @ home!

  4. Oh, your Isabelle is a shimmering beauty! Welcome home!

I love this doll so much I ended up having twin dolls for the very first time after twenty years of collecting. My twin Isabelle dolls have been named Astrid and Ingrid.

I think Isabelle will only grow in popularity over the years in the secondary market.

  5. I miss Isabelle too and I might buy her after all. I am a ballet dancer and although I have bought some of her clothes, I really need Izzy herself. Her movie is my absolute favorite! It was very relatable, and the ballerinas at the movie premiere in 2014 thought so too!

    1. You really should get Isabelle. I think every dancer, especially ballet dancers need her for sure.

  6. Hooray for Isabelle! I love her mix and match outfits. AG dance outfits are kind of special to me because the first time I ever saw AG dolls, it was in a 2005 catalog featuring Marisol. I asked my parents for Marisol but they said AG was for ages 8 and up. So, silly 4-year-old that I was, I tried to make my own Marisol out of cardboard.
Now, I have six AG dolls, four of which I saved up for myself. I don't want Marisol, but reading your post brought back that memory. Thank you!
