*REVIEW* Lea's Fruit Stand

It's already assembled. The only pieces you have to attach are the two awnings. The menus on the doors are painted on and the doors do open and shut.

It has some passion fruit, banana and mangoes in the fruit stand. There are a few drinks chilling in the bucket of ice.

Close up of one of the menus.

The other side of the stand has a place for the Toucan to sit and visit with customers. It has a menu displayed with a pamphlet about the turtles and a sign about how to take care of the turtles.

The backside of the stand has a section for the different ingredients for smoothies. There is a blender, tongs, a spoon, some cheesy bread buns and tamales and a bag of fruit.

Close up of the items for smoothies and snacks.

The doors open under the toppings for more storage.

One side of the front of the stand with the doors closed. There are stickers to decorate the doors to make it more colorful!

A close up of the bucket with ice to chill with drinks. They did a great job on making this look very realistic. The drinks are removable.

On the other side under the table area are painted flowers. I really like how this part looks. I recommend Lea's Fruit Stand. I'm really happy with it.

  1. Thanks for the review! I was amazed to see how 360 this stand really is. It's a great use of space with all of the shelves and cabinets. I love the extra little touches, too like the stickers, blender Toucan, Turtle pamphlets, hanging bag of fruit and the ice bucket. They really 'make' the smoothie stand seem very realistic and add so much more playability.

Is the Toucan removable or is he stationery? Is he textured and soft like the parrot from her hut?

Last question -- does the blender 'do' anything? Light up, make noises, spin around?

    Thanks again!

  2. Ginger the toucan is not fuzzy like the parrot and it can be removed from the post. The blender doesn't make any sounds or do anything:(

  3. We love this Stand 100 percent. Only disappointed that the Blender does not do anything at all. As of today it us sold out a American Girl Doll Place Houston

  4. I don't know why, but I am not "drawn" to this piece. I love everything else in Lea's collection (I want a hut like hers for me!) but I just don't feel a connection to this fruit stand. Maybe it's because I have never been "into" doll food.
This is just my opinion--I know a lot of you out there for whom doll food is the best part about AG. I am not trying to be a hater.
