  1. That dress is a hot mess! Ugh. Beautiful color, love the shrug, but those ruffles look like the fabric got caught in something and ripped it up and the sandals look like they could go with a summer dress :( Anyone want to place a bet for how deep of a discount this will be on in just a few weeks, a la last year's limited edition dress?

    1. OMG...The Emperor New Clothes, I was waiting for someone else to say this! I don't think I like this dress. Why is this a holiday dress? I don't think I even like the chain on the accessories being the bag. I do not understand the sandals at all...I just do not like this approach. I like what AG might have wanted which was a lavender skirt with frilly petals made from tulle, but the a symmetrical dress with the sequined shrug...I am not sure about this 2015 holiday dress. I think maybe silver slippers, sandals or shoes would have worked better and a silver coin bag with a small faux diamond clasp no chain. Maybe I have to seeit in person.

  4. I love this dress it is very beautiful and details are amazing. However the dress does not look like Christmas or Holiday Dress. Looks lime a beautiful dress to wear to a summer wedding. I do very much love the bling accessories. Sandals are a let down and truly do not represent Winter. This dress is a big risk for American Gir. I do feel it will be on sale for 25.00 by December 26th

    1. Yes Maxine, I agree...not my idea of a holiday dress, but could make a pretty dress for another annual event in spring or even summer but not for the winter season noway! I usually like AGs doll clothing especially holiday dresses, but the mark was missed on this one. Pretty dress for the wrong time of year yes. AG holiday is big for fans. And as a fan and buying customer I feel that AG could have really focused on the season and maybe this dress worksfor some fans, but not for a wintry, faux fur New England girl like me.

  6. I'm going to be honest here. I absolutely dislike this dress. I feel as if it looks like a cheap dress used for a toddler's dance recital. Although the color itself is gorgeous, the ruffles and sequins are
just UGH! I feel like this just isn't a Christmas Dress! I bet it will be on discount pretty soon.
