  1. I love that they are mixing truly me and historical character, and that the mini dolls are being advertised as doll's dolls.

  2. I do like the pictures on the pages " We Give Our All" with the 2 girls getting mini historicals for xmas, and the "Share a little love" page I had to double take, it was a doll holding a doll

  5. *From Julie's doll mom:*

That's your photo, AGInParadise? That's pretty awesome!

The catalog has a nice holiday feel, except for the BeForever dolls. It's almost like they're an afterthought. It's nice they have close-ups, but why not in their holiday clothes w/ a nice holiday background? I loved the catalog a few years back when Julie was decorating the tree and Ivy was ready for the New Year, and Julie's putting gifts in the car. BF dolls love the holidays, too!

  6. I agree with Julie's mom regarding the BeForever dolls. That would've been cute to see them more involved in the holidays. Regardless, the catalog looks beautiful!

  7. I love everything. I got to that new Bitty Baby Stroller to go with Her new Diaper Bag from the Collection.

  8. It's disappointing to see Grace's bakery taking up 2 pages when it has already sold out! I guess the catalogs were printed and ready to go out before the sellout.

  9. Thank you so much for showing us the new catalogue weeks ahead of when AG will change it online. Much appreciated.

  10. Beautiful catalog! I can't believe the bakery is sold out everywhere and it's not even November yet. It's going for almost $2,000.00 on the 2nd hand market. There are going to be some tears.

  11. The #41 is even wearing Maryellen's outfit! I love this approach with the TM and Minis combined with all the dolls!

  12. Even though I grew up with American Girl and how they used to do things, I do like the modern approach. Girls now mix and match Beforever historical dolls with modern Truly Me clothes and the same with Truly me with historical clothing. AG is just moving along with the change in times. It's different, but still cute on the dolls. I do miss how the historical had beautiful scenes in the past, which seemed to enhance AG'S range of helping girls understand the past and what 1904 may have looked like during Christmas or what the holidays were like for Rebecca around the table. It would also be nice to see Addy's 1st Christmas in freedom with some new winter accessories. However, this catalog is fresh and new, with new themes. Good for them, but I hope AG doesn't forget about why girls, even adults buy for Beforever and that the focus can be on selling and featuring their holiday collections too with historical backgrounds here and there like they have before.
