HTM Cup of Lemonade - Doll Food Series

I had another VIDEO request on how to make a glass of lemonade for 18" dolls. There are really THREE ways to do this.

#1 - I painted the inside of a clear plastic shot glass with yellow craft paint. Then slowly made a coating with low temp hot glue so I didn't melt the plastic. Then I filled the middle of the cup with high temp glue, rotating the cup in a circular motion to help smooth it out. Half way through the process I tucked a straw in the cup then filled the rest of the cup stopping 3/4 of the way.

#2 - You can buy Castin' Craft Clear Casting Resin with Catalyst at any craft store ($18). Measure equal parts epoxy with hardener. Add dye to get the color liquid you want. For lemonade - pink or yellow; for punch - red or purple.

#3 - You can always simply paint the inside of the cup, allow to dry. Mix a dab of paint with silicone caulking and fill the cup, allow to dry.

I added a foam lemon wedge for detail and you can add "ice cubes" the same time you add your straw. Use clear beads or clear "table scatter" for ice chips.

Ah! So refreshing and just in time for spring and summer! Enjoy!
