  1. Oh, I love Felicity SOO much! I wish I had the chance to get her before her archival. I hope she re-releases with BeForever (with a good collection, at that).

  3. I don't mean this to sound critical but the presentation of the products is so different in the Pleasant Company catalogs versus the Mattel. The Pleasant Company catalog looks much classier to me. I still love the AG products but the image is very different.

    1. -I know it has been years since your post but I felt the need to reply. I have been receiving american Girl catalogs since 1986 (I wish I had all my early ones) and I completely agree. The Mattel catalogs are small and incomplete to begin with. In the Pleasant Company catalogs we saw the dolls at their full size, not those mini versions and the quality of the photography was amazing. I wasn't able to get my first doll until 1997 (AG of Today #8) but knew exactly what she would look like and I tell you, I wasn't disappointed. Even the dolls were better, especially the hair. I haven't gotten a new doll, Emily, since just before she was archived. I now have 10 dolls including 2 white bodied (Molly and Kirsten). Anyway, much luck on your collecting.

    2. I agree with your comment. So sad, those PC days are gone.

  5. This was way before I started collecting, so it was great fun to see everything in a catalogue. Plus, considering it was all archived before I purchased things, I didn't do too badly on the prices I paid. Yay!
I agree with Amy, the catalogue has a different look to it.
Thank you for giving us a chance to see all of this.

  6. If I could go back in time I'd definitely order the guitar. I do have her Noah's Ark.
