DIY - Rebecca's Stage Makeup

I decided to make my own version of Rebecca's makeup set
I bought two 3" paper mache boxes and cut the height down by 1/3.

I also found a small cigar type box 4.5" x 6.5" x 1" that the round cosmetic boxes could fit into, (Michael's). The box came in a blue print, so I had to paint the entire thing fire engine red.

This project requires a lot of painting then gluing on the product labels, (courtesy Madelon). I already had a small makeup brush.

To make the cosmetics inside, I glued cardboard pieces for height then added a foam sheet circle to mimic powder and rouge. A few pieces of white felt stacked made a cute powder puff.

Because the box has a magnetic closure, I didn't want a real mirror to weigh it down and decided to use scrapbook paper instead.
