"Caroline and Saige, who just happen to love doughnuts, went to the local doughnut shop to celebrate."

Julie & Ivy's Outdoor Exploration - Camp

This week's theme at Camp is OUTDOOR EXPLORERS!

Julie and Ivy set off to explore the campsite. 

There are old artifacts along the parameter of the camp grounds. The girls grab their camera in search of interesting objects!

After stumbling upon a chicken coop, the girls find this pile of barbed wire.

"Is this where we mail out letters?" Ivy asked

"I don't know, it looks abandoned." Julie answered.

 The girls can't believe their luck! An old Pioneer wagon...

 

"Oh look! There's another wagon over there under the awning!" Ivy yells. 

 

 

 

"Climb up! Climb up Julie!!!!"

Our explorers get a first hand look at what real life Pioneer camping was like.

Throwback Thursday - Nicki GOTY 2007

Pretty GOTY Nicki Fleming was BF with JLY#16 Chelsea. They shared a room for a while then I downsized my collection. Nicki was one of the last dolls to find a new home.

 

*Opening* Josefina's HORNO OVEN

I bought an earlier Pleasant Company version. 

I'm  -S L O W L Y-  obtaining items for my more neglected dolls like Josefina, Caroline, and Felicity. 
 

 I added fresh grapes and dried chili's.
  

 

My next purchase for Josefina will be: Indigo Skirt and Camisa, Summer Outfit and her Fiesta Dress - items rumored to retire this year.

I found this $4 folding picnic table at Goodwill that Josefina will be using from now on.

 I also hope to get her bed very soon.

Julie and Ivy Check-In at Camp

 

Julie was able to check-in at camp registration and get both the cabin key and I.D. badges.

The girls see their cabin for the first time!

Time to personalize the cabin!!

 

The girls love their cabin, they signed up the cabin name "The Little Darlings". Julie begins adding beads for decoration.

The girls unpack their clothes and basic necessities.

 

"I'm so glad lockers are provided." Said Ivy.

 

"We're here! We're finally here and camp has started!!"
