Tour Kirsten's House

While my doll room isn't complete as of yet, here is Kirsten's small, cozy space.

I made the cook stove and painted the cabinets.

This is the winter scene from her window.

It is my goal to add her Pleasant Company Trestle table and chair set to my collection.

I made the pillow and the rug is a woven place mat.

Originally I was using the home made bed I had created for Kirsten, until I was lucky enough to find a great price on eBay for her American Girl bed.

I hope you enjoyed this small tour.

  1. I love how you set up Kirsten's room/ house. It looks perfect. I don't have Kirsten but my daughter has her mini version. One day I would like to get Molly and dress her in Kirsten's clothing and get some of Kirsten's AG pieces. I love little house on the Prairie (I watch it every day), so Molly would be my Laura.

    1. Molly would be adorable as Laura Ingalls. If you can sew, try printing patterns from the pattern page above. You could make a few dresses using Fat Qtrs in calico print :-)

    1. I just saw this.....the home made bed was for tutorial purposes only because I knew I wanted her real bed.

  4. Wow, the scenes and settings are so realistic that you almost can't tell what's real and what's just on the picture.

  5. Gorgeous! Love the idea of using a placemat as a rug. I recently purchased several not sure how I wanted to use them. Now I have additional ideas! :)
